  1. 4 bananas, peeled, halved lengthways
  2. 55g (1/4 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  3. 50g butter, melted
  4. 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  5. Whipped cream, to serve
  6. Chocolate sauce, to drizzle
  7. 4 maraschino cherries
  8. Chopped roasted peanuts, to sprinkle

The instruction how to make Banana split tray bake

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan forced. Grease a shallow baking tray with butter. Place the bananas, cut side up, in prepared tray.
  2. Combine the sugar with butter and spoon over the banana. Roast for 15 minutes or until the banana is caramelised and tender. Set aside for 5 minutes to cool slightly. Top with ice-cream and cream. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with the cherries and peanuts.
