The ingredient of Oma’s rice pudding

  1. 1L (4 cups) milk
  2. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  3. 100g (1/2 cup) jasmine rice
  4. 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon MasterFoodsu00ae Cardamom Ground, plus extra, to dust
  6. 45g (1/4 cup) sultanas
  7. 2 tabs slivered almonds, toasted

The instruction how to make Oma’s rice pudding

  1. Combine the milk and vanilla in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to the boil. Gradually stir in the rice. Reduce heat to low and simmer, partially covered, stirring occasionally, for about 45 minutes or until rice is tender and pudding thickens.
  2. Stir in sugar and cardamom. Serve rice pudding warm or cold, sprinkled with sultanas, almonds and extra cardamom.
