  1. 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  2. 1 cup white sugar
  3. 1/3 cup NESTLu00c9 BAKERS CHOICE Cocoa
  4. 250g butter, melted, cooled
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  6. 1 3/4 cups desiccated coconut
  7. 2 cups pure icing sugar
  8. 1/3 cup NESTLu00c9 BAKERS CHOICE Cocoa
  9. 60g butter, melted
  10. 2-3 tablespoons water, hot

The instruction how to make Chocolate coconut slice

  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line a lamington pan with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, butter, vanilla and 1 1/2 cups coconut. Mix well to combine. Press evenly over base of prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in pan.
  4. To make icing: Sift icing sugar and cocoa into a bowl. Add butter and 2 tablespoons hot water. Stir until smooth, adding more water if necessary.
  5. Spread over cooled slice and sprinkle over remaining coconut. Stand at room temperature until set. Cut into squares. Store in an airtight container.
